So after this last weekend's two events, I got to thinking ... what are the events you all think we should strive to have a good pilot showing? I'm talking about regular occuring events big and small where we can try to plan on getting at least 3 pilots too to promote the Squadron. (Special LFL events are a "no duh.")

Here's a short list of the top of my head, I'd like to see your ideas and what they correspond to.

- SDCC (July - but do we strive for a few each day, or blast out one day?) - Recruitment
- CHLA Celebrate Life w/HOPE (June) - Charity
- Parades (which ones should we shoot for? - HB St. Paddy's, Christmas ones, etc.) - Community
- Charity Walks (again, which ones should be our regulars?) - Charity
- Long Beach Comic Con (Oct) & Long Beach Comic Expo (Feb) - Recruitment
- Legoland SW Weekend (June) - is this Charity or Community?

There you go, like I said, a short list of the events I know of, I'm sure you've got some, so let's hear it. Enquiring minds want to know!

Technically, Legoland would be an LFL event since they are a licensee. But it could also be considered a community event.

Another great yearly event is the Fullerton Relay for Life in June. I debuted my pilot there in 2003. :chickpilot:

At the 2009 Autism Walk in San Diego (September) we had Rachel and I in pilot; the kids loved it. It would be great to have more participants at this event - pilot or otherwise.

The Paul Biane Library event in May in the Rancho Cucamunga/Ontario are. This has turned into an annual event and even LFL has taken notice. I know it's a decent drive for most, but a good pilot showing would be greatly appreciated!
